History – A Focus on Customer Service |

Rob and Trish Martin wanted a paint store that would have the best paint matchers, with the best service staff, selling a wide range of the best paints and related products at competitive prices, to give you a great value as our customers.
In 1993, they formed Tamalpais Paint & Color, Inc., in Corte Madera in the shadow of Mount Tamalpais. The winning formula was Rob’s 20 years of paint matching expertise and paint store management experience, as well as Trish’s office operations know how.
Tamalpais Paints soon grew to be one of the best paint service centers in the Bay Area. The store has gained a reputation throughout the Bay Area for its paint matching, customer service, and fair pricing.
In 2003, Tamalpais Paints established a store in Mill Valley to better serve its customers in that area. This Mill Valley staff upholds the store’s highest reputation for strong and able staff that provides the highest grade of service for our customers. |
